While a child can be tested through the public and charter schools for free, private testing may offer a significantly shorter waiting time compared to the schools. Also, private testing can often times be more comprehensive, as opposed to targeted, addressing the whole child by looking at areas of both strength and weakness. Additionally, the outcome of all private evaluations conducted is a written report that doesn't become part of your child's school records unless YOU decide to present it to the school. Learn more..
